MURPHY SPRAYERS

Used many decades in the foundry industry for spraying mold release onto cores and patterns, it is a rugged cast iron sprayer that can stand up to rough treatment and still provide a reliable pattern. The Murphy Spray Gun is designed for high solid content material.

 

Four sizes are available:

• 1/8" (3 mm)

• 1/4" (6 mm)

• 3/8" (10 mm)

• 1/2" (13 mm).

 

A 5' (1.53 m) suction siphon hose with a metal sinker weight attached to the end to keep the intake below the liquid surface is needed. Liquid is pumped from open containers through the siphon tubing to the atomizing sprayer.  The atomizing sprayer effect produces a uniform spray pattern that increases worker efficiency and productivity.

The Murphy Spray Gun is an ideal siphon feed spray gun for:

• Undercoating

• Gel coat

• Fiberglass

• Refractories

• Most liquids that have a suspended solid content.
